When asked her opinion regarding individuals for different positions on the Board of Adjustment and Planning and Zoning… Supervisor Fitch replies, “I hate to be mean, but I think Facebook posts matter.“ Supervisor Stancil, “I thought you weren’t on Facebook?” Fitch: “I don’t, but I get calls . I think it gets very weary. People are so weary of constantly pointing out the negative of everything, but never suggesting. I think they’re weary of it. That’s my thought that maybe we should just stay put.” Note: the person being considered that Fitch was concerned about due to Facebook posts was not selected.
